Tax Commissioner

The main duties and function of the Tax Commissioner are:

• Collect property taxes
• Collect mobile home taxes
• Collect timber taxes
• Process titles for motor vehicles.
• Issue registrations for motor vehicles for Wilkes County residents.
• Process insurance fines for the Georgia Department of Revenue.
• Cancel and replace motor vehicle registrations.
