Administrative Division

The Administrative Division provides for:

  • Administration of the office and accounting for all funds paid into the registries of the Court.
  • Preparation and approval of annual budget.
  • Approving notary public applications and issuance of notary public commissions.
  • Revocation of notary public commissions for violation of duties.
  • Filing and maintaining trade name registrations.
  • Filing and maintaining military discharge records and providing certified copies to the veteran at no charge.
  • Filing and maintaining attorney bar admission records.
  • Filing and maintaining physician's registry.
  • Administering oaths and taking affidavits in all cases permitted by law or where such authority is not confined to some other officer.
  • Administrating oaths to tax equalizers and overseeing the board of equalization.
  • Issuing certified copies of documents maintained in the clerk of superior court's office.
  • Approving bonds as directed by law.
  • Receiving passport agent's annual qualification training and processing and transmitting passport applications to the U.S. Department of State.
